DEMO RECEPTION
This game has a very zen atmosphere and is beautiful to look at. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
I played the Murky demo from MechaStudios with a smile on my face. Humor, magic, and puzzles all mixed in a nostalgic love letter to Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, and Majora’s Mask. The world feels colorful and diverse, with characters that remind me of the acid humor and cosmic themes of Adventure Time. The demo is brief, but long enough to make me feel that I cannot wait to play the full version. Congrats to the dev team for exploring a whole new genre with this second game.
If you have never played a graphic adventure before, start with this one. If you have, keep going with this one! The demo is short, but it is full of flavor and humor. No pun intended!
A gem! A lot of text, but with a comedic touch that makes it really enjoyable. I love the art, the mechanics, and the story! Hope the full game releases soon!
Great game concept and execution. Banjo-Kazooie vibes here. Funny narrative, beautiful art — I want to see more!
If you are a fan of games like *Nobody Saves the World* or *Little Misfortune*, this is your game. I loved the comedic moments with the 'Great Master' and how cute Murky is. The story left me intrigued and eager to discover what happens next. The art is gorgeous, the characters are charming, and the Mexican references are pure gold. 100/10 — I cannot wait to play the full release! Come on Mecha Studios, hurry up!
The attention to detail, the fourth-wall breaks, and the Majora’s Mask reference are great touches. The visuals feel cohesive, giving the sense of a unified world. I cannot wait to see the final version!
